ISCB GMDS Annual Conference: "Transitions in the age of biomedical AI"

In 2026, the International Society for Clinical Biostatistics (ISCB) and the German Association for Medical Informatics, Biometry and Epidemiology (GMDS) host their annual conferences together. The conference brings together international experts in biostatistics, medical informatics, and data science to discuss methodological advances and real-world applications in biomedical research and healthcare. The program includes invited sessions on topics such as personalized medicine, causal inference with real-world data, fairness in clinical prediction models, digital outcome measures, and biomedical knowledge integration.

Dr. Sabine Österle (Swiss Personalized Health Network (SPHN), Team Lead 'Semantic Strategy and FAIR Data') was invited to contribute to the Biomedical Knowledge Integration session together with other experts in the field.
