The SIB Swiss Institute for Bioinformatics and the SDSC are teaming up on developing software platforms, services and best practices for privacy-conscious, data-driven science in the context of the Swiss Personalized Health Network (SPHN).
The SDSC is currently developing the RENKU platform with the aim to provide solutions for tracking data provenance and secure computing, Our BioMedIT Interoperability working group collaborates with the SDSC on providing input, use cases, and requirements to help with the development of biomedical components of the RENKU platform. The working group will also assess the usability of RENKU with regards to HPC computing, federation, and other criteria determined by the needs of the SPHN driver projects.
