Insights on the new Medical Imaging extension of the SPHN Semantic Interoperability Framework

Medical imaging techniques are increasingly important in clinical research and care. With the latest release of its SPHN Schema, SPHN offers an effective way to make this data FAIR: Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable. This has become possible by a collaboration of the SPHN Data Coordination Center and Dr. Edwin ter Voert of the University of Zurich. Together with imaging experts and hospitals, modular, structured components have been designed to represent key aspects of imaging data.
