Basel Computational Biology Conference [BC]²

8 - 10 September 2025

The Basel Computational Biology Conference [BC]² is a biennial scientific meeting organized by the SIB Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics. As Switzerland's leading event in Computational Biology and one of the largest of its kind in Europe, [BC]² attracts around 500 scientists from academia, industry, and healthcare.

This year’s edition is titled "Bioinformatics meets AI: shaping the future of data-driven biology,". It will feature tutorials, workshops, keynote lectures, and presentations on topics such as bioinformatics for cancer research, computational methods for single-cell and spatial omics, and protein design and modeling molecular assemblies.

Together with our German colleagues our team members Sabine Österle and Vasundra Touré will host a full day workshop on FAIR conceptual and technical infrastructures facilitating high quality health data access for research.
